Therapy grounded in attention and direct experience.

I am a Somatic Therapist based in Tāmaki Makaurau, (Auckland) working with nervous system regulation and internal coherence.

I offer trauma-informed somatic therapy for people navigating anxiety, overwhelm, emotional fatigue, relational difficulty, grief, transition, and the cumulative effects of chronic stress held within the body.

This work is slow and attentive. Experiential rather than interpretive or directive. Supporting the body to reorganise through sensation, present moment awareness, and relational safety.

Patterns are held, organised, and expressed through the body, with a focus on restoring internal steadiness and a more integrated sense of self.

My work is grounded in the understanding that many patterns persist not through lack of insight, but through deeply established physiological and relational adaptations shaped over time.

Somatic Therapy

Somatic therapy is a body-oriented therapeutic approach that works with the relationship between the nervous system, emotional experience, physiological patterning, and lived history.

While insight can bring important awareness, the body often continues to organise itself around protection, vigilance, tension, withdrawal, or survival long after particular experiences have passed.

This work attends not only to thought and narrative, but also to sensation, regulation, impulse, breath, emotional rhythm, and the subtle ways experience is held within the body.

Sessions are approached with care, pacing, and attentiveness rather than force or catharsis.

Approach

I offer a calm and relational therapeutic space oriented toward greater internal coherence, emotional capacity, and nervous system regulation.

The work is collaborative and responsive to the individual rather than formulaic. Attention is given to the body’s own timing, protective structures, and intelligence, allowing change to emerge gradually through increased safety, awareness, and integration.

My approach draws from somatic therapy, trauma-informed practice, relational work, and contemporary understandings of the nervous system. My practice is informed by an ongoing interest in perception, attention, and the body as a site of meaning and experience.

I have a background in conceptual art, which continues to shape how I listen for subtlety, interruption, and what emerges beneath language.

Nothing here is being forced toward resolution. Only attended to, until it reorganises.
